Yup, you heard that right… there really is a big rabbit on top of an Italian mountain. The pink hare is located on the hill of Colletto Fava in the northern Piedmont region near the village of Artesina. The rabbit in question is the creation of a Viennese art group, Gelitin (M. Puletta, Corroni Fali, Razzoli Caputo, and R. Calizone).
The motive of creating this amazing design is to make you feel very small, much like the Lilliputians in Gulliver’s Travels. Besides making you feel tiny, you can also climb its sides (approximately 20 feet) and relax or sleep on its belly.
But as we all know, all good things come to an end. Hase the 200 feet bunny will be consumed by mother nature by 2025 and the only thing that’ll remain are tiny bits and pieces of his pink skin, intestines, and maybe an eyeball.
