SPOILER ALERT: If you’re scared of dolls, don’t watch this film.
Now we got that out of the way, here’s the real deal with this short horror movie. Two people are in a forest somewhere in Italy and they mysteriously hear this music-box-like sound and then all hell breaks lose. What happens after that will be up to you to decide.
The music, cinematography, acting, and location of this movie makes it so easily eye catching and will surely capture every psychological – horror fanatics attention. The director, Danny Darko has perfectly set the theme for this masterpiece.
9. The Moonlight Man
This is just all sorts of creepy! As if walking alone at night to your car isn’t scary enough, then you see this guy who you are hoping isn’t following you.
What makes this film so extraordinarily frightening is the fact that you don’t see him at all. You may see bits of him but you can’t see him fully. He’s creepiness level is like Michael Myers’ shoulder in the first Halloween (1978) with Jamie Lee Curtis
8. Human Form
Aaaaahhh…vanity, and our obsession to constantly look perfect. This Korean short horror film is the ultimate example of how far we’ll go just achieve the achievable and to be considered good looking.
This film is understandable though, especially where it was shot – in South Korea. The makers made this to address the growing rate of plastic surgery done on teenagers as young as 16 years old. Which is kind of brave considering that this Asian country outlaws tattoo artists.
The Hollywood full length film was first introduced to the world of movies as a short horror motion picture by the Argentinian director, Andres Muschietti.
Now Muschietti is directing the remake of Stephen King’s, “IT”.
6. Lights Out
This is another short horror film adapted to become a full-length movie of the same name. The story just makes everyone even more scared of the dark and not have enough courage to turn off the lights. We guarantee that you will lose all the possibility of having a good night’s sleep after watching this.
What would you do if the person next to you is not really who you think they are? Would you run out of your house or investigate?
At under three (3) minutes this movie perfectly captured what will definitely keep you awake the whole night.
4. The Whisperer
Have you ever felt like sometimes you’re driving yourself to insanity, but then again you repeatedly say that you’re as normal as everyone else.
3. I Heard It Too
As long as we’ve been watching scary movies, we know that having little kids in horror films make it ten times scarier. To tell you the truth, we don’t trust any cinematic masterpiece that has a kid in it!
SPOILER ALERT and a little bit of tip, if your roommate looks like she’s slowly becoming Regan from The Exorcist, just run! Run out of the d*mn house and call a priest or at least the Ghostbusters. Don’t stay there and wait for her to get better like she has the flu.
1. The Smiling Man
This event really happened to one guy in Seattle when he was walking at two in the morning because of insomnia, which makes it a hundred times creepier than your normal ghostly/paranormal story.
People are more unpredictable than ghosts and monsters.
